~This RP is based around the AVP fandom, but i'm putting it here because it is scifi.~
The lights of the ship where dim as it headed twords the blue planet below. The chosen hunters were in full battle gear, and they were now lined up in the shuttle bay, fiddeling with their armour and weapons, waiting for the signal that the ship was at safe drop height. The air was electric, most of the hunters were looking about this ship, or at each other, knowing this might be the last time they ever saw home, or their friends. Only one hunter sat still, her eyes locked on the ground. Her name is Thei-de Pyode Lou-dte, Death's Soft Child, and she is, in fact, human.

A hand suddenly rested on
A hand suddenly rested on Thei-de's shoulder, it was a hand she would know well. It belonged to her sister of the hunt, the Elders had saw fit to stop them from going to this hunt together. Her sister had just came back from the hunt. Having lost her brother to this very hunt not long ago she looked down at Thei-de. ~May the hunt be good and you come back to us a proud and honored hunter.~ Her tone was not considered soft or harsh, she was wishing her luck knowing well that she may not see her sister again. Guan-Thwei stepped back and looked Thei-de, nodding. ~Good hunting all of you.~
Thei-de look up at the
Thei-de look up at the dark-skined face of Guan-Thwei (Night Blood) one of her only friends on the ship, and smiled. She has always been an outcast among the hunters, only accepted because of the statius of her mother, the Clan Leader who found her has a child and took her as her own. Since the death of her mother only two years ago, most of the clan has shunned her. Her only saving grace was that Guan had befriended her. No one would dare cross such a large and powerful female, not even the Clan Mother. Thei-de nods at her words, looking down at her mask. ~I only wish Mother was here to see me~
I played poker the other night, with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Leaning down a little the dark red skinned female tapped her chest and then her head. ~ She is with you. She watches you from the here after. Hunt with pride and honor. Honor her.~ She smiled a little, or at least what came off as a smile. ~You will make a great hunter.~
Thei-de gave her a forced
Thei-de gave her a forced smile. After living among the hunters for over 16 years, she knew their body language as well as she knew their language. In fact she had been with them so long that the only thing about her that was really human was her apperance, and even that had been altered some. Her long fall of raven black hair had been burned away from her forehead to make room for her mask. The rest of it was pulled up into tight dreads helds with gold ringletts. Her skin was thick and leathery from the constant exsposer to the extreame heat the Hunters thrived on. Their thicker, more oxigen-rich atmosphire made her body far swifter and stronger then any normal human.
She looks up at her friend as the signal to prepar for drop came on. She put on her mask and activated her wrist computer and grabed her spear. She smiles under the mask at her friend ~Don't worry, I'll be back, and with a trophy that'll make my Mother proud~

Guan nodded as she watched
Guan nodded as she watched them get ready to leave, she turned from the area and left as her sister of the hunt climbed into the shuttle. The dark red skinned female clicked her mandibles together in thought. ~May the hunt let you little, my sister. Come back a blooded hunter.~
